Your intuition is your inner GPS. It’s the inner wisdom that guides you in the right direction and helps you take aligned action. It’s your compass.

In today’s busy and “always on” world we can sometimes lose touch with our intuition. We’re so overstimulated and overworked that we sometimes miss the important messages that it has to share.

Instead, we solely rely on our head brain and make decisions based on our thinking. This is usually very logical and practical…and therein lies the problem.

We often disregard our feelings and our instincts.

We stay in our heads and ignore the other messages.

How many times have you found yourself saying something like “this doesn’t feel right” or “a part of me wants to do X, but the other part of me wants to do Y.”

Or

“My guy is telling me to do X” or “my heart just isn’t in it.”

Do any of these sound familiar?

These are all clues that you are ignoring your intuition and that you are out of alignment.

So how do we fully tap into our intuition and take aligned action?

By checking in with all three brains.

Our head brain, heart brain, and gut-brain.

The act of checking in with all three intelligences is something I often share with clients, especially when I can see an internal conflict playing out. I notice the words and sentences they use and observe their body language. I then ask them to check in with their head, heart, and gut to identify where the resistance is.
